The idea of the ideal lover(soulmate), appeals to different people in different ways, as you have so gracefully proven.
I am merely expressing my own personal feelings towards someone with whom I did not get along well.
It has everything and nothing to do with love and/or a preordained relationship, because we have to work hard and long to be successful at all.

I don't think that your hatred has grown, but rather it might have constrained your personal growth instead.
I had to go through a lot of bad situations in my life before I could see that they were all in order for me to become a better person than I had been at the time.
I hope that you enjoy my next poem, because you have inspired me to post it.
